Focusing on the skill you need to improve – not necessarily everything!
In language learning there are four skills we could focus on, namely reading, writing, speaking and listening. However, at Elite Learning we always ask: what do YOU use English for? How do YOU use the language? The answers to these questions form the basis of your course. Thus what you will be learning is exactly what you need and want to know.
We also break the language down into four systems – grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and discourse. However if you are not one to use the language to speak with people, the focus on improved pronunciation should be minimal.
We are very aware of the fact that time is very precious. It should never be “wasted”. I can hear you commenting that learning is never a waste of time. My argument is that if you could employ your time focusing on what is most useful to you, your sense of achievement would be greater; your performance in English would also be better since you will have practised and improved that which you use the most.
Although our main focus is on language learning, we also believe in seeing each learner as a complete individual. We all need time to relax, to take in that which we have learned. We all need to relax at the Spa, sit by the pool, order an ice-cold beer or the cocktail of the day, have a choice of restaurants at our disposal, and be able to book a massage or blow dry. All this allows us to better focus on improving our linguistic skills. When we are surrounded by beauty, elegance and luxury it is incredible how much more we are open to learning. Elite Learning offers this environment to you. Our services are tailor-made and focused on each individual. We do not only see learners as people who need help with their English. We see learners as individuals who would like to be pampered whilst practising the international language of business. Invest in yourself so we can invest in you!
